Lake Tahoe for me is one of the coolest places on earth! There is so much do and see all in close proximity to a lot of big bike events in Carson City and Reno throughout the year. Im sure most have us have visited this rustic wonderland, but if you haven’t, do it, and do it soon!

There are few ways to come in to Tahoe and I recommend coming in from either Reno NV/Truckee CA via the I80 to the 89 in to Tahoe City or from Placerville CA on hwy 50 into South Lake Tahoe. Both of these routes showcase the elevation changes out of the desert into the high sierra mountains riddled with pine trees and clean cool air. Make sure you take some time to pull off the Lincoln Hwy and look at the massive granite cliffs and the beautiful river that runs parallel to the hwy.

Tahoe is full of entertainment, food, and recreational things to do. nce in Lake Tahoe there’s so much to see and do. Here is a list of things that have never disappointed every time I’ve spent time in Tahoe.

The Lake Tahoe Loop Ride. This ride will have weaving in and around the lake through every little mountain town Tahoe has to offer. The loop consists of hwy 50, hwy 28, and hwy 89. This loop is full of shops, sights, views, fuel stations and shit to do. The loop will take you roughly 3 hrs to ride depending on road construction (seems to be every time I’ve been there) and how many stops you choose to make.

Like to gamble? Hit the State-line just out South Lake Tahoe to gamble or catch a show in one the historic casinos said to have been visited through the 1960s and ’70s, casinos presented stars like Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, Frank Sinatra and the “Rat Pack,” Nat King Cole, the Supremes, Tom Jones, Wayne Newton, the Righteous Brothers, Tony Orlando, and Engelbert Humperdinck.

Harvey's Wagon Wheel Lake Tahoe Casino

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe

Montblue Resort and Casino

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

There’s always a show and a good time to be had here. Within walking distance is like the “main row” where you can walk shops, dinners, pubs, bars and even catch a ride on the tram. The Heavenly Tram ride is worth the time and money. Once at the top of the tram theres zip lines, shopping, beer, food, hikes and an amazing view of Lake Tahoe.

Crystal Bay

Is a stopping point to take in the water that is so clear you can see the bottom.

Emerald Bay

Is a stopping point not only for the views but also for a beer. Check out Brother Bar & Grill. This is a biker/sports bar that vintage and always a good time.

Macduff’s Pub

For an amazing shepherds pie or corned beef and a beer.

Richardson Ice Cream Parlor

Is an old time parlor that can make you any kind of malt, shake, ice cream, sundae, or soda with an old time soda jerk.

Red Hut Cafe

The old one that looks like a red hut in South Lake Tahoe. This is the best breakfast in area and you’ll want to be there earlier to miss the long wait times.

Everything in the Tahoe area is a little more expensive as it a resort and tourist area but it's worth it.
